Client Requirements

  1. New dog clients must be brought in to the store at least 24 hours before reservation for a meet & greet
    • Meet & greets can be done Tues - Sat 10a.m. to 7p.m. and Sun 11a.m. to 6p.m. in the 2815 (orange) building
  2. Written proof of vaccinations from your veterinarian, the date given and date due
    • Parvo, Distemper, Rabies, & Bordetella
  3. Written disclosure of any behavior issues:  Fence jumping, Aggression with other dogs/animals, Agression with people, Chewing/Eating nonedible objects (i.e. bedding, dishes, etc.), Digging, or any other behavior that may effect the comfort and safety of your pet's stay
  4. Completed and Signed Gupton's Boarding and Grooming Release 
    • You can print off  a copy (return to the home page and then click on the Boarder and Grooming Release Page) or stop by the store to pick up a  copy
    • All special feeding or medical needs must be in writing and on file
  5. Reservations are required for all overnight stays
  6. Med/Large Dogs 30--100 lbs
  7. X-Large Dogs  Over 100 lbs
  8. Males and/or Females (altered or intact)
  9. Dogs can share a Suite-Run Unit If
    • They are of similar size
    • Have a combined weight of no more than 120 lbs 

Reservations & Fees


  1. Must be made in advance of the boarding date
    • NO walk-in boarding for new clients
    • Walk-in boarding for established clients if space allows
  2. Make reservations via phone (316) 682-8110 (leave a message), or (316) 682-8111, or in person
  3. Please disclose all health, behavior, or special needs issues at eh time of making the reservation
  4. Owners that do not cancel reservations at least 24 hours in advance will have a $ 15 fee added to their file
    • Payable upon the next boarding visit bill


  1. Large Dog $ 25 per night + sales tax
  2. Large Dog requiring covered exercise pen to prevent fence jumping $ 30 per night + sales tax
  3. X-Large Dog $ 35 per night + sales tax 
  4. No additional fee for special needs feeding or medication as long as supplies and written instructions are provided by owner.



  • Suite 
    • Indoor Heated and Cooled
    • 6' X 6'
    • Dog door from indoor suite to outdoor area
  • Run
    • Kennel rock outdoor area 6' X 25'
  • Provided for each dog
    • Water and food dishes
    • Elevated dog cots and/or sleeping blankets
    • Safe Chews and Toys
    • Food: a mixture of chicken & rice and fish & rice dry kibble and/or lamb and rice canned for picky eaters

Drop-off and Pick-up Times

  • Tuesday thru Saturday:  7a.m. to 7p.m.
  • Sunday:                      8a.m. to 6p.m.
  • Monday:                     8a.m. to 9a.m.  or at 6p.m. ONLY
  • The following days drop-off and pick-up STOP at 5p.m.
    • If they fall on Monday--Monday times over ride 5p.m. deadline time
      • Thanksgiving Eve
      • Christmas Eve
      • New Year's Eve
      • New Year's Day
      • 4th of July
  • NO DROP-OFF or PICK-UP on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter Day

Boarding Perks

  • One or more human attendants is available during play time to see to the health and happiness of our guests
  • All toys, bedding, food, and dishes are supplied by Gupton's and cleaned on a daily basis
    • We feed a mixture of a chicken and rice and a fish and rice dry kibble as well as canned lamb and rice for picky eaters
  • No additional fee for medical care as long as medical supplies and written instructions are provided by owner
  • Dogs that stay for 4 or more nights are given a free complimentary bath 
    • Dog must be well behaved in bath tub to receive complimentary bath

Grooming while Boarding

All grooming services are available while dogs are boarding Tuesday through Saturday.  See Grooming Page for services and prices.


No Grooming is done on Sunday or Monday 


Grooming requests can be made at the same time reservations are made, or when drop-off occurs.
